Acne scars slightly more difficult to treat depending on the type of scar. Combination of procedures are available: including microdermabrasion, peels, microstimulation of collagen, injections with collagen, or laser treatment.
Acne Rosacea
Acne Rosacea is diffuse reddening of face due to increased number of facial veins. Acne Rosacea responds very well to IPL (intense pulsed light) with decrease in facial veins, reddening, and acne papules. For larger facial veins we will often combine it with sclerotherapy.
